Interesting concept; in 30 days you can either adopt a worthwhile lifestyle choice or delete a negative one from your world.
In just 30 days we, the humble human, can be re-programmed!
It doesn’t take a lifetime then? No, just 30 days. So, a Leopard can change its spots? YES, I suppose it can if you think 30 days is all that is required to change!
In ‘Try Something New For 30 Days’ Matt Cutts talks about how he begun embarking on his quest to change, in, you guessed it, ONLY 30 days. He also talks about how the tasks then grew in difficulty, how they challenged him and what profound changes actually occurred.
Inspiring? Well, I think so 🙂
The ‘talk’ is really short so; please, please, please watch this link!
Let me know what you think; are you willing to take the challenge?!

I’m afraid I’m one of those people who need a helluva lot more than 30 days to change. 🙂
I think most people fall into that category; I know it takes a bit more than a ‘fad’ to motivate me too 🙂
That’s a really cool idea 😀 I will ponder!
I am happy to have provided some food for thought 🙂
Oh you certainly have. I’ll be twiddling furiously ’til I’ve decided what action needs taking 🙂
Well, don’t think too long or hard – if I may make a suggestion? Be spontaneous! You will be surprised as to what decision you may derive! 🙂
I am going to weigh today. With God’s grace, I will be ten pounds thinner in 30 days. Pray for me, please.
You can do it Barbara, I know you can! Of course I will 🙂
Thanks. I am off to a good start. This goal is accomplish-able!!
🙂
It’s certainly true that when you do something new time slows down because it’s usually so memorable. I’m trying scuba diving and I will never forget my training course and having my air turned off by my instructor underwater 🙂
Yes, that does happen! That is a wonderful activity to engage in, and I am not surprised that was so memorable 🙂
I’m constantly changing something. I’ve been going to the Gym for the past 3 weeks, after a 10-year hiatus. I expect some change from that 🙂
Ah, I love a bit of change too!! So, how is the gym? Hope it has you feeling happy, motivated and healthy? I am reworking my exercise activities also, over the last few months I have been lax, and it annoys me! So, I shall also be embarking on an exercise challenge! 🙂
Reblogged this on Andre Veloz's Blog and commented:
Good reminder and exercise. Will try to stick to something… My to stick list is quite long but Ill manage to pick one!
Hope you succeed, and certain you will 🙂 Thanks for the re-blog!
This is a perfect post for me right now, especially with NaNoWriMo coming up! Thanks for posting this. 🙂
Thanks, happy you found my post worth the read 🙂 Wishing you luck with the novel!
I watched Matt’s TED Talk. Very encouraging! (And just in time for NaNoWriMo.) I’ll have to think about what I want to do. I once gave up TV for 50 days. I’m amazed at how much you don’t miss something once you give it up for a period of time.
Thanks, I am happy you find my post inspiring 🙂 I wish you luck with what you decide to give up. Yes, TV would be a tough one.
Every thirty days you have a completely new liver.
Is that true? It sounds too good to be true! Might have to Google that!
True. So, don’t drink any grog for a month and you have a clean organ.
OK, well maybe this 30 days of change is out of the question!
Haha!
