Too old for fashion I dress for comfort (damn the torpedoes). I think fashion really is (a) a way for clever people to shake shekels out of the less clever more gullible, and (b) all good fun if you really can afford it and have no mind of your own.
Anyway, I’ve always been more of a Beano than a Dandy …
Here in New Zealand it’s currently fashionable for good-looking damsels to pollute their otherwise perfect skin with more tattoos than Popeye; inky statements that literally brand them for life. If I had my time again right now I’d be studying the art and mechanics of tattoo removal; ‘cos in a few years I’d clean up … (pun deliberate).
Tattoos could be seen as an art form on their own. A fashion statement you never take off.
Yet, this permanence is not for me. However, you can know get temporary tattoos.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder — to me they look mouldy …
Yes, as you say in the eye of the beholder – each have their own ideas of beauty, which is a good thing!
